This is a rendering of my maiden speech in the field of fascia and architecture. It was at the second International Fascia Research Congress in Amsterdam that I was invited by Professor Huijing to present my old and somewhat under the dust scientific work on the organization of connective and muscular tissue to an audience that might be interested in it. It ended up with a great recognition and acknowledgement of the concept of “not anatomy but architecture” and was the beginning of a whole series of lectures and workshops on this topic in “fascialand.
