Es wird immer deutlicher, dass &#8218;der Muskel&#8216; ein veraltetes und unphysiologisches Konzept ist und dass das Verst\u00e4ndnis der Faszien als k\u00f6rpereigenes Regulationssystem die n\u00e4chste Generation effektiver praktischer Interventionen hervorbringen wird. (Tom Myers, Anatomy Trains)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><em>Zusammenfassung <\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>Auf der letzten Konferenz hat uns ein verbl\u00fcffender Vortrag des niederl\u00e4ndischen Anatomen Dr. med. Jaap van der Wal (Abb. 1) direkt durch den Spiegel in dieses neue Wunderland geschoben, ohne zur\u00fcckzublicken. Jaaps Arbeit stellt unser Verst\u00e4ndnis des Zusammenspiels von Muskeln und B\u00e4ndern in den Gelenken auf den Kopf. Obwohl Jaaps bahnbrechende Arbeit f\u00fcr die Amsterdamer Konferenz 2009 ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde, stammt seine urspr\u00fcngliche Arbeit bereits aus der Mitte der 80er Jahre. Damals waren seine Erkenntnisse einfach zu radikal f\u00fcr die vorherrschende Weisheit und wurden mit der wissenschaftlichen Standardbehandlung bedacht: Seine Arbeit wurde ignoriert, zur\u00fcckgestellt und abgetan. Auch heute noch stellen seine Ideen eine gro\u00dfe Herausforderung f\u00fcr unser Verst\u00e4ndnis dar.
